Harayloo
After Teez, the farmers celebrate Harayloo. This festival is celebrated in memory
of their slave leader who died at the hands of his cruel master, when he revolted
against his master's cruelty. Farmers, on this day, do not work in their fields
as a support for the cause of their slain leader.

Nawangi Khanay
Nawangi in common words means newly harvested crops and cereals, therefore, in this
festival of Nawangi Khanay, newly harvested rice and other cereals are eaten. Only
after this day, the barn of new harvest is opened for day to day use.
After the harvest of rice, a handful of rice is collected from the new corn stalks.
half of it is made into hawan, and the rest is mixed with curd, sugar, pepper and
other condiments before it is eaten raw by the family members. The rice thus is
eaten very little in quantity and it is considered as prasad.
